Some of our treats may also contain the following ingredients: pure honey, mint leaves, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, or parsley. For our dog treats and pupcakes, we typically use oat flour. Stay tuned for we will be offering Grain Free treats as well.
We use chia seeds and flaxmeal as egg substitutes in our dog treats due to their nutritional value, ability to mimic the texture of eggs, health benefits, and to provide allergy-friendly and vegan-friendly options. Eggs will be used in our pupcakes and doggie doughnuts once they become available to order.
We bake our dog treats in small batches according to our recipe. Our dough is hand rolled and cut then inspected. After baking, we dehydrate our treats to help extend their shelf life since no preservatives are used.
Dehydration removes some of the extra moisture which causes mold. By removing the excess moisture the shelf life of our treats is extended.
